Guzmán Castellanos has extensive experience providing legal services related to the development, planning, construction, operation and generation of energy in Mexico; We have the opportunity to represent large national and international corporations in the signing of EPC’s and public works contracts with Mexican parastatals such as CFE and Pemex, negotiating the best terms for various types of energy production, whether electricity derived from combined cycles, fossils for extraction or refining and wind power.

For the last 15 years we have participated in more than eight energy projects awarded to international corporations within Mexican territory, among which the following stand out: the combined cycle plants in San Luis de la Paz, Altamira, El Encino in Chihuahua, and the refineries of Salamanca, Minatitlán and the current Olmeca «Dos Bocas» refinery project in Paraíso Tabasco.

Our Firm, in addition to its extensive experience in the sector, offers comprehensive services for these projects, ranging from the negotiation and administration of framework contracts (contracts manager), compliance services, intermediation with owners, management of subcontractors, labor relationships and union labor control and CBA negotiation.
